EV charging site selection in Australian Capital Territory

Australian Capital Territory runs at 7.8 chargers per 100 candidate host venues, which is above the 5.0 we measure nationally and ranks it first of the 8 states we cover. Raw charger counts are a poor comparison because they mostly track population; normalising by the venues that could plausibly host a charger is what makes Australian Capital Territory and the other states comparable at all.

On unmet demand, 0.4% of the 232 analysis cells we score in Australian Capital Territory come out as charging blackspots — places where traffic, population and income all indicate demand and the nearest charger is still out of reach — against 1.3% nationally.
